What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

The universe is not static. Time moves on. When you add a new event to the end of your timeline this does not in any way effect the 'Current Date of World' which is shown at the top of your public facing page. I'm proposing a new dropdown when you edit the Current Date which is either User Defined Date or Latest date in [timeline name]

How does this feature request address the current situation?

As I add new stories to my universe they inevitably take place in a time after the current story. It would be really great to keep the two things synchronised
